The grand Ballroom at Blair Castle is imbued with the gaiety, colour and romance of a thousand Highland Balls. Banquets, birthday and anniversary celebrations, private dinners, Scottish evenings and luncheons all come alive in its special atmosphere.

The scale of the Ballroom suggests that ideally guests number from 80 up to a maximum for seated dinners of 220 but arrangements can be made if desired for as few as 40 diners.

Pre-dinner drinks receptions can be held in the modern Banvie Hall which adjoins the Ballroom. The Banvie Hall affords fine views to the surrounding countryside including two local “Munros,” hills which exceed 3,000 feet in height.
